Posted in Blog

There are times in life that leave you feeling unsure, yet excited, retrospective on the past but more contemplative about the future. I am currently experiencing this dichotomous state — as my time in Jacksonville comes to a close, I am eager to explore new opportunities in Atlanta and take my career to even further heights.

With this sea change comes an entirely new online experience for my personal portfolio website, Mbarilla.com. You can see my latest work, download my resume, or explore my blog – which starts fresh as of today. I envision this space as part commentary, part fun, and centered mostly on my observations about design, social media and other interweb miscellany.

Some say blogs are dead – and I know mine surely have been. But I don’t necessarily feel this medium is worth ignoring. While it has evolved, there are still countless benefits to forming words for the world to see.

I am eager to share my work and thoughts with you as I start this new and exciting chapter in my life.
